Hi everyone,
On April 24th, there will be a class full of elementary school students coming to RWU to participate in an art program. I am hoping that you all would be willing to support the project by having the students come into our class from 10-12PM on that day. If you are interested in letting them come into our class, please let me know! They would be doing various things, including a collaborated art project (2 el ed students to 1 RWU student), FUNDREDs, touring campus, and asking you questions about art. Perhaps we could show them some of our art too??

ReplyDeleteI dont know, would we be able to have our critique, though? Four of us are going that day for our mid crit. But does that necessarily prohibit it?...I mean, we could be critiqued by children, might be fun...
ReplyDeleteHaha...that would be interesting to have the children respond to our artwork!!! Talk about a fresh perspective. Deborah mentioned potentially pushing two of the four people back a week. I mean, we won't do it unless the entire class is comfortable with it. By the way, they are fourth graders. I don't know if that matters, but they aren't like super young....around 9 or 10.
